While the club has been closed, we’ve been very busy – we’re broadcasting 16 shows a week on Zoom to keep us all connected and active. We’ve temporarily turned the club into a food distribution hub and we are writing and piloting a coaching qualification as well.
That said, the club’s income has been seriously impacted by its closure and any help you can give to ensure we’re ready to open and welcome everyone back once we are allowed will make an enormous difference.
If you are able, please could you make either:
While we have been closed, staff and volunteers have been putting the space at the club to good use, setting up a food distribution hub to support people in our community who need a bit of extra help at this time.
Working in collaboration with the Brighton and Hove Food Partnership, The Real Junk Food Project Brighton and the Gleaning Network we are providing food parcels and cooked meals to around 500 people each week either for collection or delivery and are operating seven days a week.
Please can you help us with a donation?
£5 could help us buy gloves, masks and hand sanitiser to protect our staff, volunteers and the recipients of our food parcels
£10 could contribute to buying essentials such as bread, milk and eggs to add to the food parcels
£25 could contribute to diesel costs for the minibus which we’re using to make deliveries and for food collections.
