Brighton Table Tennis Club crowned National Champions at the Brighton Dome!

For the very first time in its 17 year history Brighton Table Tennis Club have won the Premier Division of the Senior Men’s British League at the Brighton Dome & Brighton Festival in front of 500 spectators. An absolutely incredible atmosphere helped the club to win 6-1 over BATTS Harlow who before the final match of the season were joint top of the table with Brighton.

It was incredible to have so many of our players of all ages and backgrounds in the Dome and on the stage celebrating with the trophy at the end after it was presented by the Brighton Festival 2024 Director, Frank Cottrell-Boyce. Well done to all of the Brighton players who have played in the Prem team this season particularly David Andersson, Tom Jarvis, Alex Naumi, William Bayley MBE, Toby Ellis and Ihor Zavadskyi. Inspirational for everyone at the club to see the sport played at this level.

From 1998 – 2007 the mighty London Progress Table Tennis Club won the title a record breaking ten years in a row. Progress, managed by Jonathan Kaufman, was the revolutionary club that Tim Holtam learnt to play at as a junior and has been the inspiration and value base for Brighton Table Tennis since the very beginning.
