The BTTC League
Format
The BTTC League is a weekly Singles league that started in September 2021 and has 6 divisions for players of all abilities.
The format of the BTTC League is that 16 players put their name down each week in the whatsapp group to play, whenever you are available. It is very flexible. You will be added in to the whatsapp group for the division that plays at a time that you can make and is the most suitable in terms of standard.
In one hour all players will play 2 matches, best of 5, singles and 1 doubles. Teams of 2 will drawn each week and then teams play David Cup format style match. (A&B vs X&Y. A vs Y, B vs X, A&B vs X&Y, A vs X, B vs Y.)
Players win one point in the league for each best of 5 match that they win. Players in the winning team win a bonus point for winning the match.
We will run a Spring, Summer and Autumn season and all divisions will run during school term time only, with a break for half term, Christmas, Easter and Summer holidays.
Results and tables will be shared weekly using Whatsapp.
Band 1a – Thursdays 7 – 8.30pm
Band 1b Mondays 7 – 8.30pm
Band 2b Thursdays 12 – 1.30pm
Band 3a Thursdays 5.30 – 7pm
Band 3b Tuesdays 8.30 – 10pm
Band 3c Mondays 2 – 3.30pm
All matches played count towards a players AllStars TT totals. After league matches are finished players are welcome to stay and play more matches of AllStars TT against anyone there.
Cost
The cost for playing in the league from January will be in line with all other BTTC sessions – £5 (£2 concession) per player each week
If players set up a monthly subscription or Direct Debit to the club then this will be collected at the end of each month via GoCardless. Alternatively players can pay cash or card each time they play.
Anyone on a £35 monthly direct debit will have their league fees included. Those currently on a £20 monthly subscription who want to play in the league will be asked to increase this to £35.
